Mini Apple Pie
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 teaspoons water
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and sliced
- cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour to form a paste. Add water, white sugar and brown sugar, and bring to a boil. Reduce temperature and let simmer.
- Fill mini crust with apples, mounded slightly. Sprinkle cinnamon over apples. Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the apples
- Bake
Now I see why the half-lings were so excited. :) Do you make the mini pie crusts yourself or buy them?
ReplyDeleteNo I buy pillsbury refrigerated dough and use my mini pie shaper to cut the dough
